Presentation: Memory loss


Commentary: Incidental finding of a mass of the left facial nerve.

Seen on T2 with no restriction on DWI

Unable to visualise pathology on other sequences

No other lesions were evident along the course of the facial nerve

Remote from CN VIII on T2 axial images

The patient was brought back for post-contrast sequences

Lesion strongly enhanced post-contrast

Presumed facial nerve schwannoma
